This year will be a memorable one for us! We have already had our 5th Year Anniversary! Between now and December we have a lot of events including our Western & Bush Dance, the Quest Youth Camp, a Bring Your Neighbour Day and fundraisers for overseas benevolence. October will also see Westchurch’s first conference! We are hosting the 2010 Australian Christian Convention. This event will see Christians coming from around Australia, New Zealand, United States, Thailand and India! Tony Amerine, who spoke at Westchurch last year, will be the headline speaker. For the event to be a success we need a small army of volunteers. We need people to look after: - Accommodation for overseas\interstate visitors, - Audio/Visual Set Up & Operation, - Catering (lunch, morning tea/coffee and refreshments), - Children's Activities, - Display Space, - Fees and Banking, - Front Desk\Concierge, - Mothers and Babies Room, - Registration, - Room Set Up, - Sunday region-wide worship service, - Transport from airport to accommodation for overseas visitors. An outline of what is required for each activity is attached. Have a look through the activities and see what you could contribute to the planning and operation of the event.
